Stackable chairs have been around for a long while already. But the most used type is the plastic stackable chair because they carry much lesser weight than those made of metal. These chairs usually come in mono-block sturdy frames and designed in such a way that they could be stacked on top of one another in a stable manner. What made them tick is the fact that they are very easy to store because they do not need a big space to stash them into. Being stackable, these chairs could easily fit into a fairly sized storage room with adequate height much like their popular cousins – the plastic folding chairs. Being made of strong plastic resin, durability is almost never a problem. However, there is usually a limit as to how much stacking height they must be topped on one another to maintain stability of the “stack” as well as to prevent overstressing the bottom chair that carries much of the weight of the whole “stack”.
