If you are the new owner of a backyard swimming pool, we bet that you are still excited about all the fun you have been having swimming in your pool. However, once all of the excitement dies down, you will soon realize that you will have to clean it. One of the easiest ways to do this is by using a pool cleaner. Therefore, we are going to talk about the three different kinds of pool cleaners in the marketplace today.

The first type is a manual pool cleaner. Just like it sounds, you have to be physically present to operate this cleaner. In essence, it is a big swimming pool vacuum cleaner that you have to manually move back and forth. While it may be a pain to operate, this type of pool cleaner is usually considered the best at cleaning a pool.

The second type of cleaner that you can use is an automatic pool cleaner. The cleaners move around the pool on their own. Since you do not have to be present, you can do something else that is much more fun.  The only negative of this type of pool cleaner is that its movement is random. Therefore, it is possible for it to clean one area of the pool numerous times while ignoring another portion of the pool.

The last type of cleaner that we will discuss today is the robotic pool cleaner. This pool cleaner is an improved version of the automatic pool cleaner. It contains a computer chip which allows it to be programmed. As a result, this pool cleaner operates in a deliberate pattern, which results in your swimming pool being cleaned better.

As we have demonstrated, these are the three types of pool cleaners. Personally, we highly recommend a robotic pool cleaner as it does the best job without our presence.
