I have always wanted to know how to kill mice without using rat poison, so I went to my local pet shop and soon found out that the best way to kill them is to just get a pet cat to roam around the house all day, and it will do the job for me.
With no hesitation I bought the biggest ugly looking cat I could find and brought it home with me. That afternoon my daughter came home and saw the cat.
“AAAHHHH”! She screamed. “What is that”? She asked, staring at the cat with worried eyes.
“That”. I said “Is the solution to our mice problem”.
“Is that meant to be a cat or a monster”? She asked.
“Don’t be so mean” I said picking up the cat, stroking what fur it had up against my cheek.
“Eewww” My daughter said disgustedly, as she walked to her bedroom.
The next 2 months had passed by, and no mice had been exterminated. I decided upon going back to ask why the cat had not done its job.
“Maybe your cat is vegetarian” Said the vet. “Bring it in and I will have a look to see if it is”.
Then next day went and I bought the cat back to the vet after work. I put the cat down on the bench and the vet came out. “So where is the little kitty”? Asked the vet.
“Ah, right there”. I said pointing at the cat.
“AAHHH” screeched the vet. “I think I know your problem” She exclaimed.
“What is it”? I asked. “No mice would want to go anywhere near that cat, it looks terrible”!
