Repairing a watch can be tricky business depending on the watch you are working with. If you have a very expensive watch it is probably best to not fool with it and rather have somebody who knows what they are doing fix your watch. Of course at the same time if you have a cheap watch then the cost of fixing it might be more than how much the watch is worth in the first place. In this case you might just decide to buy a new watch because even the time to invest in trying to fix it might not be worth your while. If it’s your favorite watch and you really don’t want to get rid of it, you might be able to fix it. If it is just a matter the watch band being broken you should be able to push out the pin with a very small jewelers screwdriver and replaced the band with a new one then replace the pin. If your battery has stopped you might be able to pry the back off, but sometimes watches are difficult to unseal and may never be quite right after you have popped off the back. Hopefully you can fix your watch and ware it or maybe it’s just better to get a new one and fall in love all over again.
