Erecting A Folding Camper

Getting a folding camper into its upright position is a very simple task. Once you have secured the supports on the four corners of the trailer you can start to raise the cabin. This is done by either pushing a button in the case of gas assisted sytems, or manually winding them up. Whichever design you have this whole porcess takes just a few minutes to complete.

The folding camper trailer is the main source of support once it is up, and the weight gives good balance and structural integrity. The canopy then slides over the support poles and into position. You may have to tie these down with a few velcro straps or buttons to stop them flapping in the wind. Once this is done you have created the basic shape, and all that is now required is to sort out the interior.
