Ultra rapid detox is a controversial procedure in which a drug addict who is addicted to opiates is put under and their body is quickly flushed from all the drugs that they have in their system. When they wake up from the procedure they basically have no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever and can walk out of the hospital as a new person. That is the theory anyway.
In reality, rapid detox centers can be a bit tricky if there is no follow up care or counseling or program to follow, because addicts will still be in danger of relapsing and going right back on the drugs again. Simply having a magical physical detox does not insure anything when it comes to psychological dependence or social pressure to use drugs.
