Go slow when buying bedding
There are some beautiful bedding ensembles around but it’s not all joy when you buy one. Here are a few things to think about if you’re buying a bedding ensemble
- Do you really need all the parts that are sold as part of the ensemble? If your bed looks better without a bed skirt why pay for one? You might be better buying items separately
- Do all the parts of the ensemble fit your bed properly? A bedding ensemble which is not quite right is never going to look that great and will annoy you no end
- Will some parts of the bedding ensemble (the parts which get laundered over and over) wear out before other items in the bedding set. If so, would you be better buying from a range where you can purchase items separately. For example, you may want to purchase additional sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover as these will be laundered more frequently than the cushions, throws and curtains available in some bedding ensembles.
