One area for which there are many LPN jobs is that of the LPN travel nurse. LPN travel nurse roles are essentially short term contracts usually ranging from a few weeks up to 6 months in length. The roles are usually originated through an agency who specializes in filling temporary nursing vacancies around the country.
The location of the job may require the LPN to travel, but the contracts of employment typcially include the cost of travel and the cost of accomodation whilst working. In addition the LPN travel nurse may well be able to expect a higher wage than that of permanent LPN’s doing the same job due to the need to fill the role with a temporary emplyment contract.
If you enjoy travel and are good at fitting in to new locations then the LPN travel nurse option may well suit you.
