Instead here’s a though – why not downsize your life? Stop spending – spend less than you earn, live frugally – the new simplicity as its called. Its an old idea – ask you grandmother – don’t spend what you haven’t got. Image is unimportant – the kids don’t need zillions of presents for their birthdays – nor do they need new clothes – second hand is fine – they will grow out of them before they wear them out.
Eat in not out – skip the junk food and dig a veggie patch. Sell the second and third car and rediscover public transport – the walking is good for you and you’ll be able to cancel the gym membership too. Just an alternative to more remortgage debt!
