The car giant Audi launched its luxury 7 seater crossover in the year 2006 in the Auto Show that was held in LA. The Audi Q7 was showcased in this show, and presently the Audi Q5 happens to be the latest model of the series. Q7 happens to be built on the famous car platform, the Volkswagen Group PL71; which is also called as Typ 4L. Although the 7 seater SUVs are meant for off road purposes, Audi however chose to follow its famous concept car the Pikes Peak Quattro.
