At first using heroin was a blast and exciting running around pretending to be a bad. The real truth is I was just your every day common run of the mill dope fiend.
Then it became more or less my life something that was necessary to do as part of my daily routine.
There are some questions a heroin addict must ask themselves for instance, was I trying to escape reality or what ?
I was using drugs every day to the point of oblivion every day. Why was I doing this to myself and what was I running from?
Once we get clean can no longer medicate myselve to oblivion. We have to face whatever life has to offer both good and bad without the use of drugs if I were to survive. The most important thing is that we come to terms with ourselves.
