I am electrically challenged and there is no way I can figure out how to hook up and plan out my outdoor lighting design for my outdoor space. When solar lighting became available at such reasonable prices I thought this was the perfect solution for me. After all I didn’t have to commit to a particular lighting pattern in my yard, I could move the solar garden lights around with ease without having to move a bunch of wires and connectors.

Even lighting my garden with lights was going to be a simple task. I could illuminate any of the plants that I wanted to with my solar garden lighting and they will look professionally done. There are even solar specialty lights available now that are small art pieces all by themselves.

These beautiful solar garden lights are hand blown glass offered in a variety of colors, shapes and glass design. While they are a little pricey for the average homeowner one or two pieces of these specialty solar lights will definitely enhance your patio area and give you a conversation starter among your friends and guests. The best part is you can bring these in very easily during any type of storm whether it be rain, snow or wind.

There are solar spot lights available that are embedded in flat rocks and are equipped with the super bright white LED lights for maximum light. These are available in different sizes most being between 6” and 8”.

In my research for solar lighting for my patio I found some beautiful solar votives, they put a beautiful glow on the table. These little gems have a little solar panel and little LED lights embedded the actual votive itself. I think I need to order some of these for outdoor patio that I am starting to furnish.
