Some might say that having a kitchen counter is SO eighties and are as obsolete as having a bar installed in your home, but I would still love to get one. The benefit of a counter is that you can sit on the kitchen counter stools and enjoy a beer or a glass of wine while you’re talking to the one making the dinner. It is also perfect if you have invited guests over because they can be close to you can while conducting a conversation without being in your way. I will however agree that some counters are very old fashioned but if you visit some of the high-tech kitchen shops you will see that they are starting to sell counters made in steel, glass and different sorts of stone. Some of them are really cool but also pretty expensive. But I still want one.
