As I was walking through my neighborhood the other night I noticed a few homes that had beautiful stained glass window panels hanging from their center window. While these stained glass panels looked great from the outside I know from my own experience then hanging them was quite an undertaking. In fact not too long ago I tried to hang a similar panel in my parent’s home. Unfortunately I left a not so attractive whole and they are very near window frame and now I need to go back to repair this. Another alternative to actually hanging these panels is to use a new decorating film known as stained glass window film. Stained glass window film when installed properly, can look just as beautiful and virtually indistinguishable from real stained glass panels. In fact it is also noteworthy to mention that stained glass film can be up to one half the price of a framed hanging panel.
