Working in the insurance industry is tough for most, the main workers who really cop the brunt of the public’s dislike are the front line workers these day’s most claims are settled over the phone and unfortunately for the claims settlement team this sense of removal can mean quite a lot of unrestrained abuse from claimants. The other end of the scale is customer representatives who are signing people up for car insurance, the problem here is that everyone wants inexpensive car insurance but few people meet the low risk criteria to get it. Generally the types of people that are abusive are those that turn out to be a high insurance risk so in a way hostility over the phone can be quite a good gauge of whether or not the insurance policy is going to work out.
