Picking the Right Above Ground Swimming Pool Supplies

As the weather has started to heat up, I’ve noticed some of my neighbors opening their swimming pools.  It is still a bit cool for me, but I suppose I’ll be getting things up and running in the next few weeks.

I’ve been running through the process in my mind over the past week or so.  Most years, it really isn’t that bad, but we were dealing with a bit of a swimming pool algae problem last year that never was totally resolved.  We have an above ground pool and I have been searching for information about the best solutions for an algae growth issue.

Right now, my main concern is whether or not I should switch from Baquacil over to chlorine.  Above ground swimming pool supplies can get expensive and doing this switch is not something I am taking lightly.  I don’t know if it will solve the problem or just add a pain in the neck extra step to this year’s opening procedures.  I do enjoy owning a swimming pool, but cleaning algae every other day is no fun at all.
