You know those ads you see for McDonalds, where the burger looks like the most mouth watering thing you have ever seen, with cheese oozing out the sides and everything? You know how bitterly disappointed you are when you actually buy one of these burgers, only to find out that they are flat lifeless pieces of plastic? Well, that’s how I feel about my tab top curtain.
When I saw this curtain online, it looked stunning, all the tabs were lined up evenly along the top of the curtain rod, and just the sight of it sold me on the spot. So I hit the buy now button and 5 days later they arrive in the mail. After putting them up, I realised the mistake I had made. Not only do they look dull and lifeless, but the tabs along the top refuse to stay even and uniform like on the website. I’m constantly fussing over them like an obsessive compulsive, trying to get them to look right.
