Installing enough conservatory blinds to cover an entire room can be a costly exercise.  Additionally, not everyone finds that blinds meet their design requirements.  There are, happily, a number of alternatives to blinds, though, that you may want to consider.

One of the most common options is to install curtains instead.  Not usually big heavy curtains, which can suffer from the damp, but light muslin curtains are becoming an increasingly popular alternative to conservatory blinds.

Another increasingly common option is tinted windows.  These are less popular for vertical windows, but are a great choice if you want to do away with conservatory roof blinds.
One other option for keeping the sun off of your conservatory roof is to install a conservatory awning, which will prevent the sun from hitting and heating the glass roof windows, effortlessly keeping your conservatory cool.
