One of the disadvantages of using solar lights to light your garden at night is the fact that they rely on prolonged period of sunlight to charge up sufficiently well to provide a decent level of lighting.

Although solar lights are designed with a rechargeable battery that provides 90% plus power until nearly fully depleted, thus, meaning that any charge will be used efficiently by the solar light, the fact of the matter is that there is a possibility that when you most need the light from lamp you may not get much.

Another disadvantage of solar lights is that despite the best efforts of the deisgners and manufacturers the brightness of the lamps is not as good as traditional garden lighting.  Despite these disadvantages solar lights for lighting your garden are becoming increasingly popular.
